The Electric Fence 5-Lamp Tester will show the amount of voltage on the line is indicated by a series of 5 lamps, and works accurately between 2,000V – 8,000V. This tester is ideal for anyone who wants a low-maintenance simple method to test their fencing.

A different number of lamps will light up to reflect what the voltage of the electric fencing is:

1 Lamp: 2,000V
2 Lamps: 3,000V
3 Lamps: 4,000V
4 Lamps: 6,000V
5 Lamps: 8,000V

If all 5 lamps light up on the tester, this indicates there is a healthy charge through the electric fence.

I have no knowledge of anything electrical and needed something for the fencing around the new horse paddocks as my husband was rebelling when I kept asking him to touch it to check This tester was simple, easy to use and I knew instantly that there was a current going round.
